Greetings ladies, sistrens, fellow seekers
This is my entry into WM101 2016. I have given myself the challenge to ensure that I complete this course before the commencement of 2017. I did 3/4 of the course in 2015 and when our Diva Mama suggested I take it again I really wasn't enthused - in a life where I am striving to move forward, why would I want to go back? So we reasoned and it was put to me that I could use my growth from the first cycle as a foundation for the new cycle; so I would give myself the opportunity to grow exponentially - my last step would be the springboard for my new first step - and I had gained immensely from the course.
So why now? That's what Patti Stanger, the Millionaire Matchmaker, asks. Why are you looking for a partner now? And in my case, the question is: why are you resuming the course now? And the answer is simply: because it is time. I have been through immense journeys of the past decade which have not been fun, have not been enjoyable, in fact they have been painful, distressing and seemingly unending. That woeful period is over and I emerge a newly grown woman, the diamond forged by heat and pressure, needing myriad spaces to explore, comprehend, and develop this new self.
I shall write, i shall explore, I shall make mistakes, but it's cool because after each exhalation, there's a new breath.
