Hi Diva's I just had a thought on how nice it would be to have place and a space to share, encourage and uplift each other on our own particular health goals. I know it would help me to have a group that I could talk to and be made accountable to (of course in a loving way). Knowing I am accountable to someone else beside myself gives me a little jump start towards making and sustaining positive changes in my diet and overall life style. For me I want assistance to be accountable for 1) Eating regular and consistent meals-Morning,lunch,early dinner 2) Drinking at least 60oz of water per day 3) Eliminating refined sugars and soy products from my diet for at least 3 months 4) Keeping at regular exercise program at least 3-4 times per wk 5) Sharing on quick, tasty and easy recipes
These are the areas that I am wanting support on. Iz anybody interested? Take Care.
I've been eating regularly, and a lot more fresh veggies. (I found out I like fresh Fennel.) I haven't been as consistently about my water as I would have liked. More commitment needed there. I haven't eliminated anything new. Going Vegaquarian was a great choice for my ody. I've been going to Nia 2 times per week. I love Nia.

My journey haz been going great! Fresh Fennel haven' tried it but now I'm curious I went back to soy products now and then, but now I don't crave them like I used to and the same things with sweets too. My water intake needs improvement az well and exercise hazn't been put on my priority list yet. Although I've been doing some gardening and de-cluttering the backyard for my Collage class so that counts for something
Since I introduced Coconut oil, fish oil, sea vegetables (dulse) fermented drinks and cut back on the soy and sweets my body feels so more balanced, centered and energized. So my new commitment iz to keep listening to my body and following its sage wisdom.
Thiz week I commit to at the very least 50 oz of water per day. I'll let you know how it goes in a weeks time. Were both are doing excellent, lets continue to celebrate of successes az we get healthier and more Divalious!
p.s. I didn't know Nia lived in Canada-BOTH of you gals are VERY blessed ;D
Diva Nejah, this is a fine idea, and I hope all the divas will come in here. Diva Velma, and Diva Nejah, how can we support you? Is this an opportunity to state intentions and desires and celebrate results, as well as share discoveries. That sounds good.
I'll put mine in: 1. I want to get focused on a cleansing diet and ultra metabolism, thyroid and adrenal supporting diet. So far I am working with Dr. Mark Hyman's information. I will entertain other suggestions or supplement ideas.
Success already: I have eliminated gluten and most simple carbs and sugars MOST of the time. Since last July/August, I have dropped at least 20 pounds just detoxing from gluten.
2. Exercise: regular, simple, consistent movement. I think walking is a good start, and interval training is a great metabolism and endurance builder. Dancing, Yoga stretching, and gardening are essential supplements.
Success: I'll report tomorrow.
3. Meditating, silence, listening. This one is super challenging for me. To give myself time to still, and to receive the guidance. Let the stillness help me get clear so I am not chasing the wrong rabbits, or my own tail.

What comes to mind right now iz something that I read about a week ago. I forget who it waz by, but they were saying the phrase "losing weight" had a negative cognation for some people because don't we hate to lose things. So he suggested, a different phrasing such az making a weight donation to others who would welcome gaining some extra weight.
Congratulations on following the sage wisdom and insight you body iz giving you and dropping 20 lbs. I waz eating tons of gluten in soy products and pasta (flour & water makes glue right?) I still am eating rice and its OK for now.
What iz interval training? My exercising haz slowed down a bit, but its time to think creatively and find fun ways to move my body everyday. Dancing iz fun, easy and I love it hey I think I've got it Dr. Watson ;D Plump up Zapp and Roger and I'm good to go!!
By mid day I should have my 40 oz of water, but after I eat again its rough going. Hey let me celebrate my 40 oz. what a good thing I'm doing for my body ;D
